Jonathan D. Sykes
Jonathan D. Sykes began his private practice in 1997, after a successful sixteen year business career which included: Vice-President in the Oil & Gas Industry, Manager in the Environmental and Real Estate industries. During his real estate career, he served on the Grievance Committee for the Houston Association of Realtors, and served for six years on the Board of Directors of his homeowner's association. In 2012-2013, he served as the President of the Houston Northwest Bar Association.
Jonathan graduated from South Texas College of Law in 1996. He is admitted to practice in all courts for the State of Texas, as well as the following Federal Courts: U.S. District Court, Southern District of Texas (1997), Northern District of Texas (1999), Eastern District of Texas (2003). While in law school, he clerked for Eickenburg & Stiles, and interned with Judge Elizabeth Ray. Jonathan earned his Masters of Business Administration from Houston Baptist University in 1989, and his Bachelors degree from Central Michigan University in 1983. He was a National Merit Scholar, and has been active in youth sports in his community since 1997.
